If you want to be able to stay out there longer, you need to figure out a way to load water into your RV tank efficiently. I want to share how I do it without heavy containers or hitching up to go refill.
As of this post, we have been in the same spot for 4 months. This is not normal for us, but it just worked out that way.
My RV water tank holds 110 gallons so I am already able to stay out longer than most without refilling.
But when we do need to top off the tank, our water transfer pump comes to the aid!
I was boondocking a while back with our friends and fellow RVers, Ray and Anne of LoveYourRV.com. Ray had rigged up an old water pump to move water from a container into his RV water tank.
Ingenious!
I had just changed out the water pump in my camper and kept the old one for ‘just in case’ 😉
So, I figured out a way to fix up my old pump to do the same thing.
I made this video to show my setup, and perhaps give you a bit of inspiration…. ENJOY!
